Stretch yourself with this exciting opportunity that future employers and university admissions tutors will certainly be impressed by. Build new friendships while you learn new skills in teamwork, presentation, creativity and leadership. Learn how to get the most out of a mentorship and how to collaborate with teammates. You will be working with other teenagers from several different schools with a project brief to
“MAKE YORK FIT FOR THE FUTURE”
- build the skills you need through active workshops on skills and sustainability
- join a team of other creative students from across York
- be guided by the team’s skills mentor and put together an exciting pitch
- sell your idea before a panel of “dragons” at the showcase final!
Prize: £50 voucher for each member of winning team – there will also be runner up prizes.
Dates: Saturday June 8, 15, 22 (AFTER the AS Exams) 11.30am-2.45pm. Final on Sunday evening 23 June to which families will be invited.
