Human Rights in Action: Courtroom Dramas
Do you care about Human Rights? Are you interested in law? Do you like acting? Come to these Human Rights workshops to learn, discuss, debate and act out Human Rights issues based on real people’s experiences. The topics that will be dealt with are migration, women’s rights, Guantanamo Bay, homophobia and religious persecution.
Opinionate! is a course of two workshops:
Monday 8 June 17:30 – 20:00 and Wednesday 10 June 18:00 – 20:00
Location: Alcuin College at the University of York.
This invitation is for students in Yr7 to Yr9 at schools which are part of York ISSP.
