Coming soon… the York ISSP 360° Primary Project!

Following a decade of delivering a series of very successful masterclass programmes for secondary age young people, York ISSP is delighted to announce that we will be running a similar project for students in Year 6 in Summer 2018.

Work has already started on the design of the project which centres around the concept of ‘Widening Horizons’ and aims to give students the opportunity to study a range of academic subjects in-depth to broaden their experience of the world we live in.

Each masterclass will be comprised of two, three-hour sessions held over four consecutive Saturdays. Masterclasses will be led by outstanding teachers from York secondary schools and the hope is that these will also be supported by local businesses and heritage organisations, noted academics and the outstanding resources of the University of York. Dates of the masterclasses are yet to be confirmed, but further information will be available soon.

As this will be the first year of the York ISSP 360° Primary Project, spaces will be limited so keep re-visiting our website and look out for information from your child’s primary school for further details, including how to apply.
